Owner and Director Rosemary DeMott has a Bachelor of Science degree in dance from Jacksonville University. She has performed as a singer, dancer and actress for various theaters around the United States. She has been in such shows as “My Fair Lady”, “On the Town” and “42nd Street” to name a few.She has choreographed and directed many musicals some right here in Clermont at Moonlight Players Theater. Shows like “Chicago”, “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” and ” Dirty Rotten Scoundrels”. Rosemary is also currently on faculty at Eastridge High School in the Theatre Department where she teaches dance, theatre and drama. They have produced such shows as “Tarzan”, “Hello Dolly”, “Aida” and “The Drowsy Chaperon”. She served as the co-chair for the dance organization Unity and is currently the President of Florida Dance Masters Inc.
Danielle Peronto comes to us from Madison, WI. At the age of four, she began dance lessons and found the love of performing. She left Madison at age 18 to sing and dance on Disney Cruise Line and now performs regularly as a singer/dancer at Universal Studios in Beetlejuice’s Rockin’ Graveyard Revue.
You can also find Danielle singing on stage at Rising Star at Universal Studio’s City Walk. She also performs in an acoustic duo, singing top 40’s rock in a variety of different venues.“I love music… it’s my passion!! I love to sing and dance to all types of music and share it with everyone I know!”
Amanda started her training in high school with hip hop. Dance instantly became her passion, and she quickly added jazz and ballet to her training. She started dancing at Not Just Dance in 2006, training in ballet and contemporary. In college, she continued to take classes in ballet, contemporary, hip hop, ballroom and salsa. She continues to take class and dance whenever she can. Amanda is a member of Florida Dance Masters, Inc.
As a choreographer, Amanda has created routines for community events, church services, and other productions including baccalaureates, Christmas and Easter productions, and fundraisers. Amanda also directs David’s Heart, a dance ministry at the Church at South Lake in which dancers train and perform contemporary style dance.
Jason DeMott has studied dance and theater since age 13. He has studied all styles of dance and has had leading roles in productions of “Grease”, “High School Musical”, “Bye Bye Birdie” and “Hairspray” just to name a few. He started assistant teaching at age 15 and now is enjoying teaching our Broadway Babies and ABC’s of Musical Theater program along with our Summer Fun Camps. Mr Jason is currently pursuing his college degree in business.
Tina, originally from SW Florida, studied dance from Robin Dawn Ryan at the Robin Dawn Dance Studio. Notable dance performances include: the World’s Fair in Knoxville, Tennessee; several half time shows at the Orange Bowl for Miami Dolphin games; at the Aloha Bowl Game half time show in Honolulu, Hawaii; and at the Cotton Bowl Parade in Dallas, Texas.
During summer breaks, Tina studied various forms of dance in New York City with professional teachers including: Charles Kelly, Melissa Hayden, Henry LaTang, Maurice Hines and Phil Black. During stays in New York, she competed nationally in Danny Hoctor’s Dance Caravan NYC Competitions winning 1st place twice.
Tina is a Florida State University graduate. She is a certified Primary Group Exercise Instructor by the Aerobic & Fitness Association of America and a Les Mills Certified Instructor and works at two facilities in the Clermont area.
Tina enjoys seeing how acrobatics influences her students’ development of strength, balance, flexibility and coordination resulting in confidence in their everyday lives!
