Broadway Babies

For ages 2-4. This class combines art, music and dance. We use play and creative movement to give our dancers the foundation they need to grow.

ABC's of Musical Theater

For ages 4-6. Young aspiring performers learn the basics of the three components of a musical: dance, acting and singing. We use games, song and dance to enhance the abilities and confidence of our young performers.

Ballet

Students students will learn ballet fundamentals and terminology while developing strength, confidence, balance, and flexibility. Ballet technique and terminology are taught through the execution of barre work, center and across the floor.

Tap

Designed to develop rhythm, style and sound. Exercises focus on building flexibility of the knee and ankles, coordination, and speed of movement.

Jazz

A fun and funky style that focuses on isolations of the body, improving performance quality, and developing complex rhythm and patterns.

Musical Theater

Students learn all aspects of a musical: acting, singing, dancing, auditioning, as well as how to play supporting and lead roles in a production.

Hip Hop

A high energy class that encourages students to bring their own individual style and personality. Students are taught rhythm, coordination, musicality and choreography through different styles of hip hop.

Contemporary

An artistic style that is a fusion of ballet, jazz and modern dance. Students are taught technique, musicality and how to express emotion.

Modern

It develops the use of the entire body to express abstract ideas. Students focus on contractions, spirals, basic floor work, and elemental concepts of space, time, and force.

Alignment

A series of exercises done on the floor to help strengthen and stretch. We recommend all students 10+ taking ballet to take an alignment class.

Pointe & Pre-Pointe

For students with previous ballet training. Students are taught body alignment, placement of the feet, and the manner in which a dancer transitions to and from en pointe. Correct alignment and ballet technique is essential therefore the instructor must determine if a student is ready.
